IGP Energy, Inc., through its subsidiary IGP Ammonia, LLC, has entered into a partnership agreement with Bay Ltd. to develop a world class ultra-low carbon and renewable ammonia facility near Corpus Christi, TX. Bay is contributing a 200-acre site for construction of the future facility. The site is capable of housing four production plants, each capable of manufacturing approximately 1.4 million tons per year. IGP, in conjunction with its technology partners, has developed a facility design that reduces CO2 output for its facilities by over 90% compared to currently operating facilities. With integrated carbon sequestration the plant CO2 output is anticipated to be near zero.

Construction on the first plant is anticipated to begin in 2024 with commercial operations commencing in 2027. With access to low-cost natural gas and the Port of Corpus Christi’s deep-water port, the site is well positioned to serve a growing global clean ammonia demand. ““Ammonia is critical to food security, and Bay is excited to be involved with IGP and their technology partners in this project.
